We are immensely proud to be the sponsors of the fantastic Woburn and Wavendon Lionesses, a remarkable team that embodies the spirit of community and sportsmanship.

The illustrious Woburn and Wavendon Football Club was founded in 1976, making it not only one of the oldest football clubs in the area but also one of the largest. Over the years, it has grown exponentially and now boasts a vibrant community of over 580 boys and girls of all ages and abilities. These young athletes participate in around 45 teams, each one dedicated to fostering teamwork, skill development, and a love for the game. The club's commitment to inclusivity ensures that every child, regardless of their skill level, has the opportunity to engage in football and develop their talents.

Every match day, around 1,000 enthusiastic parents gather to support their children, creating an atmosphere filled with excitement and camaraderie. Beyond the immediate families, the games attract a loyal audience of approximately 7,000 spectators from the surrounding communities of Milton Keynes and Bedfordshire. This impressive turnout not only showcases the popularity of the club but also highlights the strong sense of community that Woburn and Wavendon FC has cultivated over the years. The club has achieved Community Club accreditation, which is a testament to its dedication to excellence. This prestigious recognition signifies that Woburn and Wavendon FC is among the best football clubs in the country, having demonstrated effective management practices, sustainability, and a steadfast commitment to child protection. Moreover, the club places a significant emphasis on providing high-quality coaching and ensuring the safety of all its players, which are paramount to its operational ethos.

Unfortunately, the current COVID-19 pandemic has had a profound impact on sporting events worldwide, and as a result, all of Woburn and Wavendon FC's upcoming games have had to be cancelled. This has been a challenging time for the players, coaches, and the entire club community, as they eagerly await the opportunity to return to the pitch. Nevertheless, we extend our heartfelt wishes for their success and resilience as they prepare for the season to kick off once again. The spirit of the Woburn and Wavendon Lionesses will undoubtedly shine through, and we look forward to witnessing their continued growth and achievements in the future!
